Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Storage Cleaner Chrome extension and this website (together, “the Service”). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Who we are

The Service is operated by an independent developer (“we,” “us”). Contact: yair@cleanmicrosoftstorage.com. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft. Microsoft, Outlook, and OneDrive are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies.

What the Service does

Storage Cleaner is a Chrome extension that helps you free up storage in your own Microsoft account across Outlook and OneDrive. It runs locally in your browser and acts only on the account you connect. It scans for items that take up space and helps you remove the ones you choose. We do not receive, store, or transmit the contents of your emails or files. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Your account and your responsibility

You are responsible for the actions you take with the Service. You choose what to scan and what to remove, and nothing is removed without your confirmation. Many cleanups move items to Outlook's Deleted Items or the OneDrive recycle bin, where they can be restored for about 30 days before Microsoft deletes them permanently. Some actions, such as emptying Deleted Items or the recycle bin, are permanent and cannot be undone. You are responsible for reviewing your selections and for keeping your own backups of anything important.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal or internal business use. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the extension, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law. You may not use the Service to violate any law or any third party's rights, including Microsoft's Terms of Service.

Payments

Scanning is free. Unlocking the cleanup features requires a one-time payment, with no subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive your card details. Prices are shown before purchase and may change for future purchases. If you are unhappy with your purchase, contact us at yair@cleanmicrosoftstorage.com and we will review refund requests in good faith. Some payment-processor fees may be non-refundable.

Service availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time. Because the Service depends on Microsoft's own products and pages, changes Microsoft makes may affect how the Service works. We do not guarantee that any specific cleanup or feature will always be available.

No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will recover or preserve any data.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, or email, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.

Changes to these Terms

If these Terms change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
